About North Georgia

My daughter is doing a report on the State of Georgia for a school project. She will receive extra credit points if she can find little known facts about the state. These facts must be things that cannot be found in an encyclopedia or other books. Some of the things she is interested in are:

State insect
State animal
State fish
etc.

I would appreciate a response as quickly as possible. Her report is due on May 30.

Leanne Mottl
Well, you lucked out on this one. I remembered that the state fish is the largemouth bass and the state mammal is a whale, but this is just memory, and memory can be flawed. Sorry! New-- We have added a number of these to our North Georgia Facts page
